A visit to the 'Golden Triangle,' Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan, the primary locations of Northern India is a favorite among all tourists.

DELHI :

Delhi is national capital of Federal Republic of India, integrating both modern and traditional Indian culture.

Begin with the Red Fort, also called the LalQila, the fort is laid out along the river Yamuna as an irregular octagon. It is surrounded by a wall of about 2.4 km in circumference & is built of red sandstone.

India Gate, is a 42 meters high stone arch of triumph. It bears the name of the 85,000 Indian Army Soldiers who died in the campaigns of World War I.

Qutub Minar, still the highest stone tower in India is one of Delhi's recognized landmarks.

Other places to visit in Delhi are Connaught Place, Lotus Temple, Burlap Mandir, Jantar Mantra, Jam Mashed, Atoka Pillar, Rashtrapati Bhutan, Rajah, National Museum, Zoological Park, Lodi Gardens.

AGRA :

(Agra is 204 km from Delhi, easily accessible by train and road). A sightseeing tour starts with a visit to the seven wonders of the World, Tag Mahan. It was built by Shah Johan in 1631 in memory of his wife, Mutes Mahan. Like a jewel, The Tag's exotic color is pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden when the moon shines.

Agra Fort: The foundation of this majestic citadel was laid by Emperor Amber. Other monuments at the Fort are: The Manager Mahan, The Khans Mahan, The Muhammad Bur, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-I-Aam, and The Motif Mahan.

Faithful Skirl was built by Amber who had planned this city as his capital. One of the best examples of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture, it is said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca.

Other architectural marvels and famous tourist spots are China Ka Raze, Ram Bagh, Spikenard, Itmad-ud-Daulah, Swami Bagh, Sir Samovar and Patina Bird Sanctuary.

JAIPUR :

(Japer is 250 km from Delhi). The Rose Pink city founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, is the capital of Rajasthan. Japer, is surrounded on all sides by rugged hills, crowned with forts. & enclosed by embattled walls.

Other Places to visit are: Amber Fort, Birth, Gaiter, Gala, Ramah Lake, Sam ode, Manager, Vidyadhar's Garden, Amery Palace, Haw Mahan, Jaeger, Jail Mahan, Nahargarh Fort, Senoia Rain Ka Bagh and many more.
